About us

Kimura was founded in Sweden 2009. The site was first built in Swedish under the domain kimura.se. After many years of following MMA, UFC and Swedish MMA kimura.se came to grow into the largest MMA-site in Scandinavia. The site is still live and growing today.

We got tired of UFC always being the center-point of MMA, european fans having to watch fights in the middle of the night and european organisations not being respected as they should. This led us to launch kimurasport.com, the sites purpose is to acknowledge and boost european MMA showing the community that there are great organisations here in Europe aswell.
